Each role has a standard set of assigned permissions and a set of configurable permissions. An administrator has permission to view and manage the specific permissions for each role. The complete overview is shown via the 'Manage -> Settings -> Permissions and roles' tab.
The specific roles are described separately in this category. Below is an explanation of the permissions available in Remindo.
For all permissions where 'manage' is mentioned, this means that the component can be viewed, edited, added and usually also deleted.
Settings
- Can view locations The user has access to the 'Manage' -> Locations' page and can view it.
- Can manage locations The user has access to the 'Manage' -> Locations' page and can add new locations and/or edit existing locations.
- Can view user properties The user has access to the 'Administration -> User properties' page and can view it.
- Can manage user properties The user has access to the 'Administration -> User properties' page and can add new user properties and/or edit existing user properties.
- Can manage API settings The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can add new connections or edit existing connections on the 'API' tab.
- Can manage authentication settings The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the settings relating to 'forgotten password' and 'Confirm identity for security' on the 'General' tab.
- Can manage the default settings The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the default settings on the 'General' tab under 'Profile fields and default settings'.
- Can manage bounced e-mail The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the 'Undeliverable email' and 'Sent email' tabs.
- Can manage generic settings The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the default settings on the 'General' tab.
- Can manage the external integrations The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the settings on the 'General' tab under 'External integrations'.
- Can view information to create an LTI-link to a specific blueprint Via the 'Courses and test blueprints' menu and the details of a test blueprint, the user can view the information needed to create an LTI connection.
- Can manage permissions and roles The user has access to the 'Administration -> Settings' page and can manage the permissions per role via the 'Permissions and roles' tab.
- Can view the privacy settings The user can configure whether, when performing certain actions, the user must confirm their identity again for security purposes. This setting can be found via 'Administration -> Settings -> General settings tab -> Confirm identity for security section'.
- Can view text management The user has access to the 'Administration -> Text management' page.
- Can manage text management The user has access to the 'Administration -> Text management' page and can manage the application and email texts.
- Can define terminology Via 'Administration -> Settings -> Terminology tab', the user can customise a number of frequently used terms.
Correction rounds
- Can check answers The user can check candidates' answers if linked to the correct study and depending on whether the corrector must be linked to candidates in the correction round settings.
- Can edit correction work from other users The user can make changes to other users' correction work.
- Can view the list of correction work The user can view the overview of answers to be corrected via 'Results -> Check answers'.
- Can add/change correction rounds on individual test moments and subscriptions The user can make changes to correciton rounds for individual test moments and subscriptions.
- Can view correction rounds The user can view the overview of correction rounds via 'Results -> Correction rounds' and can view the statuses and distribution of correction work there.
- Has access to the correction round management page Via the overview of correction rounds under 'Results -> Correction rounds', the user can manage the correction rounds.
Management
- Can view the candidate menu The user has access to the 'Manage -> Candidates' page.
- Can log in as an administrator The user can log in as a specific administrator.
- Can log in as a candidate The user can log in as a specific candidate. In principle, it is never necessary to log in as a candidate. Therefore, the following message is shown when a user wants to perform this action: Warning! You are now logging in as this candidate. This will interrupt the candidate's test. Are you sure you want to continue?
- Can log in as a tutor The user can log in as a specific tutor.
- Can access the manual The user can view the manual (this knowledge base).
- Can edit their profile The user can edit their own profile.
- Can view their profile The user can view their own profile.
- Can view studies The user has access to the 'Studies and test blueprints' menu.
- Can view administrators The user has access to the 'Manage -> Admins' menu and can view the administrators there.
- Can manage administrators The user has access to the 'Manage -> Admins' menu and can manage the administrators there.
- Can download audit trail Via the actions under 'Manage -> Admins' 'Manage -> Tutors' and 'Manage -> Candidates', the user can download an audit trail for a specific user.
- Can import user groups Via 'Manage -> Candidates -> Manage user groups', the user can import user groups.
- Can view the user groups Via 'Manage -> Candidates -> Manage user groups', the user can view the user groups.
- Can manage the user groups Via 'Manage -> Candidates -> Manage user groups', the user can manage the user groups.
- Can view candidates Via 'Manage -> Candidates', the user can view the candidates.
- Can create/edit candidates Via 'Manage -> Candidates', the user can create and/or edit candidates.
- Can adjust a candidate's permissions The user can adjust a candidate's permissions.
- Can view tutors Via 'Manage -> Tutors', the user can view the tutors.
- Can create/edit tutors Via 'Manage -> Tutors', the user can create and/or edit supervisors.
- Can adjust a tutor's permissions The user can adjust a tutor's permissions.

Planning
- Can see planning page The user sees the 'Planning' menu button and can view the Planning.
- Can add or edit test moments The user can add and/or edit test moments in the Planning.
- Can archive a test moment The user can archive a test moment in the Planning.
- Can manage the candidates of a test moment In the Planning, the user can manage the candidates of the test moment in the candidate list.
- Can manage any candidate in a test moment (no link to a user group assignments needed) In the Planning, the user can manage the candidates of the test moment in the candidate list. This user does not need a link to a user group for this; all candidates can be managed.
- Can manage supervisors of a test moment In the planning, the user can manage the supervisors of the test moment in the list of supervisors.
- Can manage him-/herself as a supervisor to a test moment In the Planning, the user can manage the supervisors of the test session in the list of supervisors, including themselves.
- Can generate an accountability report for a test moment In the Planning, the user can manage an accountability report for the test moment.
- Can view the review moments list The user can view review moments in the Planning.
- Can manage reviews for candidates The user can add and/or edit review moments in the Planning.
- Can manage any candidate in a review moment (no user group assignments needed) In the Planning, the user can manage the candidates of the review moment in the candidate list. This user does not need a link to a user group for this; all candidates can be managed.
- Can archive a review moment The user can archive a review moment in the Planning.
- Can manage paper-based exams Via the 'Manage -> Paper-based exams' menu, the user can manage paper-based examns.
- Can view paper-based exams Via the 'Manage -> Paper-based exams' menu, the user can view paper-based exams.
Results
- Can view the group analysis: Of digital test results The user can compare group results via 'Results -> Analyses > Group analysis tab'.
- Can view the group analysis: Of Paper-based test results The user can compare group results via 'Results -> Analyses > Group analysis tab'.
- Can access to the result analysis: Of digital tests The user has access to the result analyses of digital tests via 'Results -> Analyses'.
- Can access the result analysis: Of paper-based tests The user has access to the result analysis of paper-based tests via 'Results -> Analyses'.
- Can access the analysis in Proctorio (requires permission to view result details) The user has access to the analysis in Proctorio. Enabling this option gives the user the option to switch to Proctorio on the candidate's results page.
- Can change the response model The user has permission to adjust the response model for a question.
- Can export the results The user can export results from a number of locations.
- Can access the results: Of digital test results The user has access to the results of digital tests.
- Can access the results: Of paper-based test results The user has access to the results of paper-based tests.
- Can process results again Via the actions under 'Results -> All results' or 'Results -> Analyses', the user can reprocess specific results. This is mainly used when no result (grade, points, percentage) is shown even though a result was expected.
- Can remove results The user can delete a result. Note: deleting data can never be undone.
- Can view the result details The user can view the results page of a test. This is the page where all questions/answers and scores are displayed.
- Can reply to comments (requires the permission to view result details) The user can respond to comments posted by a candidate.
- Can manage paper-based exam results Via 'Results -> Paper-based exam results', the user can upload answer sheets for paper-based tests and process them into a result.
- Can view paper-based exam results Via 'Results -> Paper-based exam results', the user can view the data for paper-based tests.
- Can view the results log The user can view the log of a result.
Blueprint
- Can view the question identifier The user can view the question identification number in the question information (on the results page or in the analysis).
- Can manage subscriptions for candidates The user can edit candidate registrations, such as the link to a test blueprint, the test blueprint settings or the visibility of results.
- Can preview a blueprint Via the 'Studies and test blueprints' menu, the user can navigate to a specific blueprint and has the option to view its preview there.
- Can start a retry for a subscription The user can start a resit for a candidate if it has been configured in the administration environment that the test may be retaken.
- Can try a blueprint Via the 'Studies and test blueprints' menu, the user can navigate to a specific blueprint and has the option to test the blueprint there. In this case, the test is shown as a candidate would see it.
Activity
- Can abort a test In the 'Activity Overview', the user can stop an active test of a candidate.
- Can approve the start a test In the 'Activity Overview', the user can give a candidate permission to start a test.
- Can give extra time during a test In the 'Activity Overview', the user can give a candidate extra time during the test. This is only possible when this is configured in the test blueprint and the test has a specific duration.
- Can view the Activity Overview The user has access to the 'Activity Overview' menu.
Test taking
- Can start a test The candidate can start a test.
- Can start a review moment The candidate can start a review moment.
