Highlights

  • Use of default settings for exam moments via the API
    It is now possible when creating an exam moment via the API to indicate that the default settings that administrators can set themselves should be used. 

    Administrators can adjust these default settings via Management > Settings > Default test moment settings. This automatically applies the same configuration to exam moments created via the API. 

General

  • Reminder: Rollout schedule new design for candidates 
    This year we will gradually roll out the new design for candidate pages in all environments. See the article ‘Year planning of releases 2026’ for the schedule and what this means for the candidates in your player environment(s).

  • New domain names for preview environments
    The URLs of the preview environments have been changed:

    • *.preview.remindomanager.com (formerly *.preview.remindotoetsmanager.nl)
    • *.preview.remindo.com (formerly *.preview.remindotoets.nl)

    This change ensures more uniformity and consistency within our preview infrastructure. The adjustment applies exclusively to environments that ended with the old *.preview.remindotoets.nl or *.preview.remindotoetsmanager.nl domains.

    There is no functional impact: users who open an old URL will be automatically redirected to the new one. However, we advise adjusting any bookmarks or API connections to the new domain names.

    This change has no impact on production environments. The URL of a production environment will not be changed without prior consultation.

    Note!

    If API connections use preview environments, please adjust the URL!

Manager

  • Clearer text for composite caesura in blueprint settings 
    The text in the settings of the blueprint about the weighting of a composite ceasura has been clarified to reduce interpretation differences. If absolute weighting is chosen, its meaning is immediately clear: “Every feedback category can be set on a fixed weight.“.
  • More organized list of question banks 
    Deleted or archived question banks no longer remain unnecessarily visible in the dropdown list. This makes choosing the correct question bank faster and prevents misunderstandings. 

  • Indication of excluded questions
    When adding questions to a blueprint, it is now immediately visible to the author or test coordinator which questions are excluded due to previously selected questions in the blueprint. This prevents an unwanted selection that would cause the blueprint not to be saved.


     

Player

  • Early access now always visible in Schoolyear Dashboard 
    When early access is allowed on a test moment, this is always communicated to Schoolyear and visible to the supervisor. 
  • Consistent display of duration in exports 
    Administrators will now see in exports that the column "Time spent" always shows the difference between the start and end time of a test, even when a blueprint is set to unlimited duration. This prevents confusion when checking or forwarding overviews. 
  • Result and score always shown in PDF results (OKE) 
    The PDFs exchanged via the OKE connection now consistently show the outcome and score, making reports more useful for administrators. 
  • Better pagination when retrieving users via the API 
    If large numbers of users are requested via the API, and the user list is paginated, a user will not be returned twice on different pages in the API response. 
  • Accessibility profile of demo users also applied for Immersive Reader 
    Immersive Reader now also takes into account the set accessibility profiles for demo candidates and users trying out tests. This works the same way as ReadSpeaker. 
  • End of support for Ouriginal – transition to Turnitin 
    Ouriginal has been acquired by Turnitin. Contact Turnitin to discuss what this transition means for your organization. 

    Remindo supports an integration with Turnitin. This means you can arrange the switch from Ouriginal to Turnitin yourself. You can activate the Turnitin connection yourself in the Remindo settings; if you need help with this, please contact our Service Desk. 

    Important dates at a glance:
    - June 30, 2026: End of support for Ouriginal connection 
    - July 1, 2026: Ouriginal connection removed from Remindo 
    Regardless of the above dates, it is already possible to switch to Turnitin.

Other

  • More stable processing when retrieving large amounts via API 
    Administrators will notice smoother processing when retrieving large amounts of data via the API, such as an overview of all questions. Especially in the case of large environments with many questions. 
  • Sowiso integration updated
    The integration with Sowiso has been updated to version 4.10.2 More information can be found at https://player.sowiso.com/handwritten/06_changelog/.
