Highlights

Switching back to the old design is no longer possible
From this release onwards, it is no longer possible to switch back to the old design of the test-taking and results pages for candidates. As announced in the ‘Year planning of releases 2026’ and in 'Release notes 26.4', the temporary option for admins to switch back will expire after Release 26.5. From now on, all environments will use only the new design.
Based on user feedback, we have made a number of further improvements, which are explained below.

Calculator enters values correctly for questions with multiple input fields and worksheet questions
For questions with multiple input fields or worksheet questions, the calculator did not always fill in the correct, selected field. This has been improved so that the calculated value is entered in the selected field.
Clear notification when the maximum number of words is exceeded
In an open question with a maximum number of words, the new design did not include a clear warning when the candidate exceeded this maximum. This has been clarified by adding an icon in a clear red colour.
Image on the test-taking start page scales correctly again
An image in the instruction text on the test-taking start page could extend beyond the edge of the screen. This has been resolved; the image now scales accordingly.
Entered values visible in text entry question in a table
When a text entry question was placed in a table, entered values were not always visible to the candidate during test-taking, even though the input was saved. This has been improved.

Result status “Closed” is no longer unnecessarily red
The status “Closed” on the results page was always displayed in red, regardless of the result. This could incorrectly be interpreted by the candidate as a warning or a fail. The status is now displayed neutrally, in the same colour as the other text.
Display of matching question on Result page improved
A matching question with score distribution enabled was displayed unclearly on the results page. This has been improved.
Formatting of feedback is retained during review moment
Formatting such as underlining, bold and italics in feedback was not displayed when viewing the feedback during a review moment. The formatting is now displayed correctly, matching the display in the Manager environment.

New correction round can no longer be started for archived results
It was still possible to add a correction round to an archived result. This action is now hidden for archived results because it is not possible to mark archived results.
